ATAGO has responded to the demand for a "Dip-type" refractometer by Hospitals, Clinics, Athletic Trainers & Coaches, Drug Testing Facilities and Probation Officers nationwide.Simply Dip or Touch the sensor to the sample (as shown below) for quick & easy measurement of Urine Specific Gravity.
The PEN-Wrestling has been specifically engineered to meet the needs of all clinical testing facilities and programs. New design developments allow the tester to perform measurements with a simple "dip and touch" motion. This dip-in model is the most convenient unit available for quick,accurate readings.
The practical design helps in FOUR ways:
(1) It is a much faster set up. Dip and read.
(2) Urine cups are measured as they sit. No transferring of urine from the sample cup to the refractometer Prism! Yes, no more moving pee around!
(3) When compared to the old, less expensive analog, hand held Refractometers, you won't need to look through a refractometer with URINE on the end of it (on the Prism). Hopefully you don't get a face full of pee!
(4) It is also safer and hassle-free when it comes to cleanup. Dip in distilled water and wipe with a dry soft cloth after each test or when you put it away.
