One BRAND NEW Palm Abbe Glycerine & Propylene Glycol Refractometer is designed to provide the freezing point and percent concentration of both glyercine and propylene glycol antifreeze solutons. This instrument will test glycerine and propylene glycol percent concentration by volume and freezing point in degrees Celsius. Just place a drop or two of glycerine (glycerol) or propylene glycol in the stainless-steel sample well and press a button. The custom-designed microprocessor delivers a nearly instantaneous readout of glycerine or propylene glycol concentration or freeze point. Nonlinear temperature compensation is automatic and insures that fluids tested between 0 and 50 °C (+32 to 122 °F) are measured accurately. Glycerine or propylene glycol concentration and freeze point are easily read on the large dual-line LCD display, even in dim light. Digital readings remove the subjectivity associated with interpreting where a boundary line crosses tiny scale divisions. And, it is so easy to use! The user interface consists of two buttons, one to take readings and the other to step through various menu options.
