THIS FLUID ENABLES YOUR SALINITY REFRACTOMETER TO BE AS ACCURATE AS POSSIBLE!COMMON QUESTIONS:Why do I need this fluid? - Simply put, it will calibrate your Salinity Refractometer in the middle of the usual salt water marine environment range. Calibrating it to 0PPT/1.000SG with distilled water, r/o water, etc., make that point the most accurate, while the further points are gradually less accurate. The theory behind this fluid is that by calibrating the unit at the middle of the salt water environment range, you are creating the most accurate point (the point of calibration) nearest to your test samples. If you have very sensitive marine life, then this fluid is for you! How do I use this fluid? - Place a drop or two of the fluid onto the prism of your Salinity Refractometer and it should read 35PPT/1.0264SG. If not, adjust your calibration screw on your Refractometer. Can I still use Distilled Water to Calibrate? - Like the 53.0mS Calibration Fluid, distilled (r/o, di, etc) water can be used to calibrate your Salinity Refractometer. It is still a very good calibrating fluid. This fluid is designed to be a little more accurate for those who need that extra little benefit.Store with the lid on tight in a dark and dry environment immoderate temperature (near room temp).
Shipping Domestic S&H is $5.00 for (1) Vial, and an extra $1.00 per extra Vial.
For international shipments is is $12.00 ($10.00 to Canada) Air Mail via USPS (4-7 business days) and $1.00 for each additional Vial.
